Let Me Down Slowly Lyrics
I can feel you fade away
from the kitchen to the bathroom
sink and your steps keep me awake
don't cut me down, throw me out,
leave me here to waste
I used to be a guy of dignity and elegance.
now I'm slipping through
the cracks of your cold embrace
so please, please
Could you find a way to let me down slowly?
A little sympathy I hope you can show me
If you wanna go then
I'll be so lonely
if your leaving baby
let me down slowly
let me down. let me down. down. let me down. down
let me down. let me down. down. let me down
if you wanna go then I`ll be so lonely
if you`re leaving baby
let me down slowly
cold skin. As I stroll down the corridor, I drag my feet on
the tile.
and I know we haven`t talked in a while so I`m looking for
an open door
don`t cut me down. throw me out. leave me here to waste
I once was a man. with dignity and grace
I'm sliding between the crevices of your chilly grip right
now.
so please, please
could you find a way to
let me down slowly
I'm hoping you can show me some sympathy.
if you wanna go then I`ll be so lonely
if you`re leaving baby
let me down slowly
let me down. down
Let me down. Down. Let me down. Let me down. Down.
Let me down. Down. Let me down.
If you wanna go then
I'll be so lonely
If you're leaving baby
let me down slowly
And I can't stop myself
from falling- Down
could you find a way to
let me down slowly?
a little sympathy. i hope you can show me
if you wanna go then i`ll be so lonely
if you`re leaving baby
let me down slowly
let me down. down
Let me down. Down. Let me down. Let me down. Down. Let me
down. Down. Let me down.
If you wanna go then
I'll be so lonely
If you're leaving baby
let me down slowly
if you wanna go then i`ll be so lonely
if you`re leaving baby
let me down slowly
Let Me Down Slowly Lyrics review
"Let Me Down Slowly" is a pleasant old-school
sounding pop CD. The phrase 'good ol', sound pop record' does not mean boring
or middle-of-the-road. It's a well-produced record, but it's not that
elaborate. Nothing is wrong with it. Alec Benjamin delivers a strong vocal
performance that is free of flashiness or gospel histrionics. He may not be the
king of runs, but he steers clear of gimmicks, which are overdone in popular
music in general.
Benjamin does his thing on "Let Me Down Slowly,"
and it pays off. He has a beautiful voice with a charming, young tone. On the
chorus, he delivers the lyrics expressively, bringing emotions and the song
itself "home." Simply put, his little heart cannot endure any further
or unexpected suffering.
